Little Sister costume

May's theme at Cybil's House was video games. Now i'm not a gamer, haven't a clue, so decided not to make anything for myself. However, my friend Tim is a gamer and he asked if I could help him with an outfit. He wanted to go as a Little Sister from the video game Bio Shock.

This fancy dress costume was used as a guide;

He had already bought the dress (I just needed to add on the buttons), so I just had to make the apron. I started with a simple pattern and bought some plain white fabric from Chrisp Street Market.

This was sewn together;

Eyelets added to the back so it can be adjusted;

A pleated skirt was then added;

 And finally a bow at the back;

 And so together, with the skirt, this was the final outfit;

And this is how Tim looked on the night;
